Now I haven't checked out your sound yet, but I will soon, and I suspect that it's pretty similar to what I have. and I 'wiggled the first beat back and forth' like you have just suggestedĪnd VOILA' that's exactly the sound I was looking for! I put it into Virtual DJ (a seemingly useless, but in this case very useful, program)ģ. Weeddigger: I have just logged in after ages of not reading any of my posts - naughty me - and in the meantime I did something similar to what you've suggested above:Ģ. I just made the sound myself in Traktor, and I'm going to try and upload it so you can check it out.
Here's something you could do to get the sound if you don't have a turn table and a record.ĭownload the demo of Native-Instruments Traktor 3, toss a tune on (preferably something that starts with a kick drum) and then wiggle the first beat of a tune back and forth. Yeah, that's like a scratch, like a record is being cued.
